Inventory of an item at a specific date in D365.

In D365 Inventory management module that will show the inventory of an item at a specific date in the past.

As an example, the inventory of item 146212 and the reports below show the qty transition from Voyage GIT (goods in transit) to receiving location in D365.   

This is a great tool to determine if there was really an inventory at a specific date as users have claimed. 

Go to Inventory Management -> Inquires and reports -> physical inventory by inventory dimension

Filter by the item number -  for example '146212' and select the toggles as shown in the figure.

The item is in receiving (BWRCV) location and not in the warehouse (BWWHS) Location. So, the lines having this item is not yet invoiced.
