Create UPC and ITF  Bar codes

Inventory mgmt. > inventory and Warehousemgmt parameters > UPC Code

These are the different Bar code setup we have in the system.

This field is used for Boxworks integration and to provide right data to the loftware to find the right bar code purpose

When we create a new product

Product information mgnt > released products > Manage inventory >Bar codes > Generate UPC/ITF

This creates a Bar code

Now create the new item

Then select the Apply template field and click on Ok

By default it creates for ‘EACH’ which might throw an error. So always set the user conversion first.

For setting the user conversion

Product >unit conversion > new

If we do not update at unit conversion, then we will have issue at Box works. Even if forget to assign the Bar code-- Box works would know that data is missing.

Now, go to the Manage Inventory > Bar codes > Generate UPC/ITF.
