Even if the customer records have email addresses, this error is not about the recipient's email—it's about the sender's configuration.
The system is trying to send an email (e.g., a packing slip), but it fails because:
- The 'From' email address is not explicitly set.
- The system is supposed to infer the 'From' address from the default SMTP account, but it can't because the SMTP settings are incomplete.
✅ What to check:
- Email Parameters (usually under System Administration > Setup > Email > Email parameters):
- Ensure the SMTP server, port, authentication method, and credentials are correctly configured.
- Make sure a default 'From' email address is set, or that the SMTP account has a valid email associated.
- Print Management Settings (if you're using email as a print destination):
- Confirm that the email sender is defined or inherited correctly.
- User Email Settings (if the email is sent on behalf of a user):
- Check if the user account initiating the email has a valid email address in their user profile.
Get the SMTP account email from prod and copy it into UT at this location.
- Check if the user account initiating the email has a valid email address in their user profile.
- Also make sure Batch email provider is Graph.
At the end compare all the email parameter settings to prod
